I had a stroke while riding my bike in April 05. I lost use of my right arm and leg. I have had some recovery but I still am unable to work. I had to sell my bike to pay off the loan on it. If there is anyone out there that could help a disabled and broke Biker get back in the wind with a trike or a bike with a side car, I would be forever grateful. Please Email Frank I would like to thank my family, friends, and my Biker brothers and sisters for all the support. Thank you, and God Bless you all. Viper Diamondback 152 Motorcycle Sales Exceed Company Expectation

HOPKINS, MN--(eMediaWorld - June 25, 2009) - Viper Motorcycle Company (OTCBB: VPWS), a subsidiary of Viper Powersports Inc., announced today the successful retail sales of its Viper Diamondback motorcycles. Terry Nesbitt, President, Viper Motorcycle Company, elaborates, "Retail sales are well ahead of projections and growing at a pace to meet and exceed our expectations, and dealers are clamoring for more."

Rick Fairless, Owner/President of Strokers Dallas, an industry icon, stated, "Response to Viper's Diamondback 152 motorcycle has been excellent and we are selling units as fast as they arrive. We are very pleased with the style and quality of these motorcycles. When a consumer first approaches a Viper, he/she can instantly see this is a well thought out OEM product resulting in enhanced overall value. We look forward to a long and successful relationship... and getting more bikes from Viper."

"This early success at Strokers Dallas and other dealerships nationwide confirms our belief that Viper, and specifically the Diamondback 152, provides the motorcycle enthusiast with an unparalleled combination of style, performance and price that results in immediate market acceptance," added Nesbitt. "We've taken the best elements and combined them into features distinctive to Viper resulting in what we believe is the most compelling addition to the motorcycle world in a long, long time. Experiencing this instant retail with our initial dealers is both an affirmation of this sentiment and the first in what we believe will be a chain of successes as we pursue market share and market dominance."

In an earlier article on the bike's road review, Joe Knezevic, Managing Editor of American Iron Magazine, commented: "All I can say is that this engine is impressive, especially since it is a production motor and not a custom built one-off. Simply put, Viper's engineers have done a wonderful job with this proprietary engine, and this is the only production bike I know of that comes with such a big heart."

Viper Powersports designs, manufactures and markets a line of premium American V-Twin Super Cruiser motorcycles, V-Twin aftermarket engines and other related aftermarket products through an independent dealer network. Joint venture partner Ilmor Engineering (www.ilmor.com), provides technical developmental support for the proprietary 152 cubic inch Viper V-Twin engine, utilizing their 25 years of engine design expertise, ensuring Vipers' long term success as America's newest domestic OEM of motorcycles. Francesco Paul Condo, 39, is charged with 10 offences, some dating back nine years.

The magistrate ordered the report and adjourned the matter until next month.

Bingie Bikies arrested - Bay Post/Moruya Examiner - Batemans Bay Police have arrested two Bay residents this morning, who have confirmed links to the Bay chapter of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, and charged them for crimes relating to an alleged amphetamines factory that was discovered at Bingie in April this year.
A 46-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were charged with participating in illegal activities at a drug manufacturing lab in Bingie and for eliciting manufactured drugs.
Police attended a Batemans Bay residence at 11.30am this morning as part of investigations made by Strike Force Barree.
Police had previously questioned a person who was arrested after being discovered at the alleged drug lab in April.
The other person involved was identified as part of police inquiries from their investigation.
Far south coast acting crime manager Gary Megay was pleased with the strike force officer's efforts over the two month long investigation.
"Police worked tirelessly on the investigation since April 7. It's a really good outcome for them and a really good outcome for the community," he said.
The arrests almost wrap-up the investigation with the only remaining items to complete being documents to be filed for court, according to Insp Megay.
On April 7 officers from Strike Force Barree swooped on a Bingie home and arrested three people. The trio were later released without charge.
The pair is expected to appear in Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday.

Harley-Davidson owners roll into town for the weekend - Journal Record (subscription) - OKLAHOMA CITY – A little problem like a recession isn’t going to keep Harley-Davidson motorcycle owners from attending their largest national gathering in Oklahoma City this weekend, Matt King said.

“Obviously the economy’s had an effect on everybody, but as far as our Harley Owners Group members go, they are really the core of the core. … The most committed and passionate riders that we have through thick and thin,” said King, Harley-Davidson spokesman Thursday. “They let very little get in their way.
“Riding a Harley isn’t just a fad or hobby for HOG members; it’s a lifestyle. So while the economy is a factor for everybody, we haven’t seen significant decreases in participation at our events.”
Event organizers and vendors were busy Thursday setting up at State Fair Park in preparation for the thousands of Harley Owners Group (HOG) members expected to roll into the city. The two-day rally begins Friday. City tourism officials said about 5,000 registered participants are expected.
Fairgrounds spokesman Scott Munz said the park has effectively been split in two because the National Reining Horse Association’s Open Derby is being held on the same weekend. With the Oklahoma City Summer Classic Dog Show being held at the Cox Convention Center downtown, hotel vacancies in the area are scarce, he said.
“Oklahoma City’s hip, spirited surroundings combined with its deep western heritage create the perfect backdrop for Club HOG OKC,” club event General Manager Benny Suggs said. “Our members should plan on arriving early and staying late so they can take advantage of the many exciting adventures this fantastic part of the country has to offer.”
The rally is focused at the fairgrounds, but related events are scheduled elsewhere in the city. Club members-only activities include musical stage performances, stunt teams, Muscular Dystrophy Association fundraisers, the HOG Wall of Ink tattoo contest and various organized destination rides. Licensed drivers will be allowed to take demo rides on 2009 Harley-Davidson and Buell model motorcycles, King said.
The rally will start to wrap up Saturday with the HOG Chapter Parade of Flags. A convoy of more than 1,200 Harleys will depart the fairgrounds at 9 a.m. and make its way to the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, through the Bricktown district, and return to the fairgrounds by 10 a.m. A map of the parade route with public viewing points is online at www.visitokc.com/hog.
The Bikes & Bricks Street Party in Bricktown will begin at noon Saturday and run until about midnight. The party is open to the general public and will showcase several bands and more Harley-Davidson merchandise.
“This will be the largest street party ever held in Bricktown and we are anticipating a great crowd and thousands of bikes,” Bricktown Association Director Jim Cowan said. “We’ve been working on the Bikes & Bricks Street Party for many months, and we know those who come to Bricktown won’t be disappointed.”
The last time the rally was held in Oklahoma City was in 1997.

Riding for a good cause in Hudson - MetroWest Daily News - HUDSON — From Hudson to North Brookfield, listen for the roar of motorcycle engines tomorrow as many as 100 bikers will make the 80-mile roundtrip to raise money for an 11-year-old girl suffering from cystic fibrosis.
For the past four years, Hudson AMVETS Post 208 has organized motorcycle benefit rides through the back roads of central Massachusetts to raise money for area Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals.
When the group heard about a Hudson National Guardsman whose sister has cystic fibrosis, they wanted to lend a hand, said Bill Rivers, AMVETS Post 208 commander.
"We're trying to help the family out with any costs," Rivers said.
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system.
Rivers also said girl's family asked that her name not be published.
"It's a great cause," said Chuck Tagan, president of the AMVETS Post 208 Building Committee. "Every dime goes directly to the family."
Rivers said the event usually draws about 40 or 50 riders, but he expects about 75 to 80 people to take part tomorrow.
"We've put a lot of work behind this for the past couple months," he said.
The post held its first motorcycle benefit ride four years ago to raise money to send a local color guard team to a competition in North Carolina.
"I've seen other people do it, so I figured we should do it, too," Tagan said.
Each year, the veterans select a family in need or another worthy cause and holds the benefit ride to help, Tagan said. "We try to pick people in town that are going through situations they don't want to be in."

Registration for the ride begins at 9 a.m. at the AMVETS Post on South Street. The ride costs $20 for bikers and $5 for passengers. The bikers will depart at 11 a.m. and ride about 40 miles to North Brookfield, then return to the AMVETS Post for a barbecue, complete with music and raffles.
Tagan said numerous local restaurants donated gift cards to be raffled off at the barbecue.
"They (local businesses) always seem to step up to the plate for the veterans," he said.
In addition to the annual benefit ride, post members also work with the Home Alone program, which provides 900 meals to shut-ins and senior citizens on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Although the riders will enjoy cruising the back roads, Rivers and Tagan said they look forward to raising money for a good cause.
"It's absolutely great," Tagan said. "You get such a warm feeling to see a smile on someone's face who's having a tough time."

Ronald McDonald Ride Update - Review Messenger - Greg Karvonen, organizer of the 8th Annual Ronald McDonald (RM) House RIDE held June 13, reports that the ride has once again attained the status of World’s Largest Motorcycle RIDE for the Ronald McDonald House and the number one contributor to the RM house in Fargo, ND.
A total of 1,250 motorcycles took park in the ride, with $108,438.32 raised. The events also collected 1,110 gallons of pop tabs.
Karvonen again expresses thanks to the many individuals for their help and support to this worthwhile cause.

Motorcyclist killed in crash, thrown into fence - San Bernardino Sun - A motorcyclist was killed Thursday after crashing into a dirt berm and being thrown 150 feet into a fence, officials said.
Brandin Lee Zantop, 30, of Joshua Tree was speeding on a 2006 Yamaha bike south on Quail Springs Road when he missed a turn and drove off the road, crossing a dirt shoulder and hitting an 18-inch-high berm, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Zantop and his motorcycle were thrown into the fence of a backyard on Elwood Avenue.
Although residents heard an "unusual noise" when Zantop is believed to have crashed about 1:20 a.m., they didn't realize what had happened until five hours later.
