I had a stroke while riding my bike in April 05. I lost use of my right arm and leg. I have had some recovery but I still am unable to work. I had to sell my bike to pay off the loan on it. If there is anyone out there that could help a disabled and broke Biker get back in the wind with a trike or a bike with a side car, I would be forever grateful. Please Email Frank I would like to thank my family, friends, and my Biker brothers and sisters for all the support. Thank you, and God Bless you all. Comanchero member charged with intimidation  - NSW Police Online (press release) - A member of the Comanchero Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) has been charged and will face court next month, following an alleged intimidation incident at Kings Cross.
About 3.40am yesterday, (Sunday 26 July), a number of males approached a nightclub on Kellert Street and attempted to gain entry.
When the group was refused entry by staff at the premises, one of the men, a 29-year-old alleged member of the Comanchero OMCG, verbally threatened staff and demanded entry.
The manager was allegedly told that he would be shot if he did not allow the group entry to the club.
Police intervened a short time later, before arresting the 29-year-old man at the scene. He was taken to Kings Cross Police Station for questioning.
He was subsequently charged with intimidation. He’s been granted conditional bail to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday 27 August 2009.
Strike Force Raptor was established by the State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad and is a proactive and high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and their associated criminal enterprises.

Motorcycle crash kills 21-year old Halifax man  - The Patriot Ledger - Christopher Wood loved working on cars and motorcycles.
The 21-year-old planned to turn his love for vehicles into a career after finishing automotive studies in Norwood, his mother said.
But on Saturday, Wood was killed after being thrown from his motorcycle in Plympton, police said.
The crash occurred near 10 Center St. at about 7:30 p.m.
His mother, Diane Colligan, 56, said Wood was returning from a party and had not been drinking.
“He went off the road,” his mother said through tears Sunday at her Elm Street home.
“He was always working on a car, his Camaro, his truck, his motorcycle,” Colligan said.
A 2006 graduate of South Shore Vocational Technical High School in Hanover, Wood also enjoyed camping, kayaking, and “anything outdoors,” his mother said.
He most recently worked as a salesman at Brockton Cycle Center in Brockton, she said.
“He will be so missed,” she said, tears streaming. “He was just a good kid.”

Coroner's office IDs Delhi crash victim - Merced Sun-Star - A 46-year-old man killed Friday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle on Sycamore Street has been identified as Scott Alves of Delhi, according to the Merced County Coroner's Office.
The wreck happened around 3 p.m. just south of August Avenue, California Highway Patrol spokesman Shane Ferriera said.
Authorities declined to provide the motorcyclist's name Friday evening because his family had not yet been notified of his death.
Alves was riding southbound on Sycamore when he steered his motorcycle into the opposing lane of traffic and then skidded before he was thrown from the bike, according to the CHP.
He was wearing a helmet but died at the scene.
A 2003 Chevy Tahoe struck the motorcycle after the victim was thrown from it, authorities said. The Tahoe sustained moderate damage, though none of its seven passengers was injured, Ferriera said.

Annual Tom and Bryan Ride honors fallen officers - South Bend Tribune - MISHAWAKA — Hundreds of engines roared through the east side of Mishawaka on Sunday in honor of two fallen heroes.
More than 300 revved-up riders rode out on the fourth annual Tom and Bryan Ride. After a brief prayer, the playing of “Amazing Grace” on bagpipes and a moment of silence for the two fallen officers, the ride was officially on its way.
The ride was established to honor Cpl. Thomas Roberts and Patrolman Bryan Verkler, along with others who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The event was organized by the Mishawaka FOP No. 91.

“Tom was more than just a police officer,” said Gary Roberts, brother of the slain officer. “He was a good man who enjoyed life, especially the times he spent with his daughters, Lindsay and Holly.
“It's an honor to see all these people who have come out to ride. It's also for a good cause. The money raised from this ride will go toward helping children with autism.”
Thomas Roberts and Bryan S. Verkler, two Mishawaka police officers, were shot to death while responding to a call of shots fired.
Four years after their deaths, the ride has steadily grown bigger.
“This is the fourth year we rode in honor of Tom and Bryan, who were killed in the line of duty,” said Chad Thomas of Mishawaka, one of this year's organizers. “We're going to be taking a 70-mile ride down to Koonez Lake and back to FOP No. 91. Once we return there will be a cookout, prizes and a silent auction. This ride is a good way to remember these two great men.”
Motorcyclists from all over the area came to take part in the run. Gary Roberts' own motorcycle was even part of the procession.
Friends and colleagues also turned out to remember these two police officers. They said the deaths have had a profound effect on their lives.
"I am a former St. Joseph County police officer, so this is a sentimental ride for me" said Rich Pishnoff, of Osceola. "This is my fourth time making this ride and it touches my heart every time I do it. But it's a wonderful community event for a great cause. I have enjoyed it every year."
The proceeds from the day's event will go to benefit the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism at Logan.
"These men became heroes not because of how they died,” said Russ Howard, of Michigan, a rider. “But it's how they lived."
